The new home for left student politics at Cambridge.

The University of Cambridge Left Society shall serve as a beacon of independent working-class politics at this university, and we call upon all students who recognise the necessity of a new politics to join us in the mission for realising a shared future for mankind.

Speakers

UCLS plans to bring the biggest names in the British left to Cambridge, giving students the chance to engage with the biggest names on the left. From members of parliament to members of the media, UCLS brings the left to you.

Organising

Working with local community groups throughout Cambridge, UCLS will be a vehicle for change by working beyond the Westminster bubble. Left politics requires mobilisation outside the halls of Parliament and the rooms of political parties, and this direct action is where our mission lies.

Socials

Whether it be debates, drinks, or dining, UCLS will be hosting a plethora of events during term for left wing students to debate, discuss, and get to know one another. From our regular debate nights, to formals and more, keep your eyes peeled for our social events slate!
